i13's 2016 Display

Postby i13 » Sat Jan 21, 2017 11:15 pm

When I hung up a single set of lights in 2008, I was originally planning to get about 10 static light sets for the years 2008 - 2011 and then leave it at that. Of course it didn't end there :D

Let me know if you want to use any of these sequences. I sequenced these in xLights but I have some older Vixen ones from 2015 too. I'm happy for you to use them; you'll just need to add the same audio back in.

I have another sequence but it's best to watch the video in YouTube and read the info I added below it due to the audio https://youtu.be/vdJi5A8hvJc

I don't know if/when I'll be able to use these lights again because I'll be living in share houses for the foreseeable future. Please don't ask me to sell them - I've invested hundreds of hours in this light display and I wouldn't be able to recover any of that by selling. 3-wire light sets are also getting hard to buy so I can't easily replace them. I'll hold onto what I have and use it again if I can.

Note: Although UKCL's policy is that all posted content is in the public domain, these videos are hosted on YouTube, not UKCL. YouTube states that the video ownership remains with me.

That is a nice display. I really hope you are able to bring them out of storage in the future.
I would like to have a look at any xlights sequences you are willing to share. Any inspiration is always good.
Thanks so much. Taz.

I just tried attaching a zipped version of the sequence folder (minus audio files) to this post and it is too large. I'm not giving up yet.

you could put the file on Google Drive and share it.
Then you just share the link to that one file. Set as read only and all should be good.
